About Me

I am a 45 year husband and dad, currently adjusting to life back in the United States after living in Italy for a little over two years. I love spending time with my family, cycling, model railroading, mosaics and watching TV and movies.

Vedano Market and Mexicali

This morning we walked into downtown Vedano to check out the Saturday market.  We found some tasty cheeses, and some roasted chicken with potatoes that we would later eat for lunch.  Brandon bought a bag of freshly made chicken strips.  Wow, they were tasty.

Katrina decided she was going to take some photos in Parco di Monza.  Brandon and I walked back home, but not before checking out some Lamborgini's heading into the Autodromo.

The rest of the day was spent hanging out at home.  Brandon played Legos.  I worked on a tea light mosaic candle holder and began work on a new mosaic.

This evening we met Mike at Mexicali for dinner.  This would be our last dinner with him.  He will be moving back to the US on Wednesday.  Wow, two years has flown by.  I guess we are lucky that we still have a little over two months left.

Mike and Katrina toast to 2 years in Italy.  We have a picture just like this from two years ago, probably toasting to having 2 years in Italy!

All of us at Mexicali

We had a great dinner of fajitas, multiple margaritas, chips and salsa.  We finished off the evening with Tequila Boom Boom's.  We've had these the last couple of visits to Mexicali.  Fun!

Ciao Mike.  See you on the other side of the world!
