About Me

I am a 45 year husband and dad, currently adjusting to life back in the United States after living in Italy for a little over two years. I love spending time with my family, cycling, model railroading, mosaics and watching TV and movies.

Friday!

It's Friday.  The last two days have cooled off a bit.  The first two weeks of April felt more like July, with temps in the 80's.  Now we are back to 60's.

There wasn't much out of the ordinary today.  I went shopping this morning to buy a large pink suitcase for Katrina.  She has a small one for carry on luggage, but wanted a large one for other trips.  This was her wish for Mother's Day, so I bought it for her.  Some wives want flowers, mine wants luggage!

As much as we are trying to live in the moment here in Italy, its amazing how much moving home is becoming a part of our daily conversation.  Today it had to do with the cat.  As I mentioned yesterday, we now have airline reservations for July 1.  We will touch down in the US of A at 11am on July 1.  Today we had to make sure the cat had a reservation.  Most airlines only allow one pet in the passenger compartment, so if you are bringing one, you have to make your reservation early to be safe.  Can you believe it will cost $200 for Stevie to fly home.  Thats actually a great deal compare to us.

This evening we had pizza night.  Pizza night is usually on Thursday night, but Katrina had to work late, so Brandon and I just made our own dinner.
