Brandon wanted a Nintendo DS. His 10th birthday is coming up, so we made a deal with him. If he could save half the money, we would pay the other half as his birthday present.
He worked really hard saving his allowance, even choosing to bypass souvenier shops and toy stores on our travels. Finally, this past Sunday he had enough for us to order one from Amazon UK.
It arrived today. His birthday isn't until April, but he was allowed to open it and starting playing right away. He even had enough extra money saved up to buy a couple of extra games.
