Katrina was walking in Parco di Monza this morning when she spotted a kids cycling club doing laps in the park. She sent us a text since we were getting ready to head out on a ride anyway.
So, we headed that way but didn't see much until we were exiting the park. We ran into a couple of the kids and their coach. He spoke only Italian, so our conversation was fairly cryptic, but we managed. He was impressed with Brandon on his bike and invited him to come ride with them on Friday. Brandon was pretty excited about this.
We continued on with our ride. Today we headed up a new route, through Lesmo past Amelie's house, through California and past Marie-Julie's house. We ended up riding quite a few kilometers today. Brandon is getting much more confident on the road and with his bike handling skills. He is quite a climber and usually makes me work hard up hills. It's fun to have a riding partner.
This evening I made baked penne pasta with zuchini. Very tasty!
