Space Presentation

Brandon's class had to create presentations about what they had learned during their unit on Space.  Some kids worked in groups, some on their own.  Some created artistic diaramas, some created Powerpoint presentations.  Last week they had to present their projects to the class.

Today, they invited parents to come see their presentations.  It was very fun and interesting to hear and see what they had created.

Here is Brandon's project that he worked on with his classmate Vincent:

This afternoon the PAB sponsored our second Movie Afternoon, in conjunction with the half day of school.   We showed Toy Story 3.  Carolyn came along and read while I helped serve popcorn and watched the movie.

We spent much of the evening packing for our trip.  Tomorrow we leave for Naples.  We are actually staying in Sorrento for all but one night.  Our last night will be in Naples.  We are planning to do day trips to:  Pompeii, Capri, the Amalfi Coast, Naples, Herculaneum and whatever else looks interesing.

  1. Were you the reason the wall collapsed in Pompei, normally i would be jealous of being on the amalfi coast but the weather there is almost as bad as here in the Zillertal.
Had you visited Parrabuddy you will have seen that i spend a lot of time on the bike in Italy, perhaps you will be at the Giro this coming season?
    Good luck with Fatty's comp.

  2. Parrabuddy: Ha, no the walls collapsed before we arrived. We have been lucky. The weather has been very nice, sunny and 60's F each day.

I am planning to visit the Giro on 3 different days - Day 1 and 2, and when it rolls past Monza, where we live...sometime in week 3.
