BBQ!!

We were invited to a BBQ today. Wooohooo!

The Van Der Klauw's invited us over for an afternoon BBQ. Their daughter was in Brandon's class this past year.

We arrived around 2:30 on a sweltering afternoon. The kids all jumped in the pool to play and keep cool. The adults kept cool with cold beverages. We had a good time, despite the heat. Lots of good food, great conversation, a couple of funny party games and plenty of wine and beer.


Near the end of the evening we participated in a comical Dutch Football song. I guess we didn't sing well enough, since Spain beat the Dutch team to win the World Cup.

Of course, they waited until late in the evening after we had enjoyed a few bottles of wine and some beers.
