Rain, lots of Rain

We woke up to cool temps and heavy rain this morning. I got up when the alarm went off, but apparently I was the last one up. Brandon was playing Club Penguin on the computer and Katrina was drinking tea on the balcony, enjoying the sounds and smells of the rain.

Katrina and I spent some time getting Brandon's gear together for his residential trip. He leaves tomorrow for three days/2 nights with his class. The are heading up into the mountains of the Piedmont region, near the French border.

I ran a few errands this morning: bank, post office, gas station and Punto. I spent a few hours finalizing plans for our Croatia/Slovenia trip. We leave on the 25th. I also bought train tickets for the Gatwick - Bath leg of our England trip.

After picking up Brandon at school today, we walked into Vedano to get haircuts. I was long past due and Brandon needed a trim to clean up his mop head.

We spent part of the evening helping Brandon pack his suitcase. He's pretty excited about his trip, although the weather is not looking very favorable...rain and thunderstorms.
