Sunny Monday

It's Monday. I woke up to the sun beaming into our bedroom. I got up, went into the office to check email and found that it was only 6am. Back to bed. We really need to start closing the fortress blind, at least halfway, now that it is summer and the sun shines directly into our room.

I had a morning meeting at school today, so I walked Brandon to school. The kids have Sports Day on Friday and I volunteered to help out. I will be helping with the bean bag throw and the frisbee throw.

Proving that my post from earlier today was true, I came home and started on some household chores instead of going on my bike ride first. My last 'stall' activity was to write the blog about stalling. So, with no excuses, I took off towards Bergamo. The Bergamo route is flatter than the Lurago di Erba route. My legs were still a bit tired from the 70km ride yesterday, so that was the reason for a flat route. I did have to struggle with headwinds all the way home. I'm not sure which is tougher, headwinds or hills. I really think the earth was playing a trick on me for not taking the hilly route.

After picking Brandon up at school today, we rode over to the miniature golf place in Vedano. His classmate, Hugo, was having his 9th birthday party. I helped keep score for one group of 6 kids and had fun watching them. They never sat still...even once.

It's warm this evening...88 outside. The breeze just started to pickup, finally. I'm a 70's kinda guy.

Tomorrow morning we have Brandon's last school conference for the year....
