About Me

I am a 45 year husband and dad, currently adjusting to life back in the United States after living in Italy for a little over two years. I love spending time with my family, cycling, model railroading, mosaics and watching TV and movies.

Monday Greys

Its grey and rainy today, as it has been for the past week. The forecast for the next 15 days only has two days with little suns on them. So, I can't say I have the Monday blues, because everything is grey.

Katrina is home sick today. She developed a cold over the weekend. Poor thing. I need to walk over to Punto and get a couple boxes of tissues for her. Brandon and I are suffering a bit from allergies. We are sniffly and sneezy. Yes, the Monday greys.

I spent the morning cleaning up the house after a weekend at home. Most of the mess is just putting things away and doing a little sweeping. I have my Nano in my pocket and I'm cleaning to the tunes of KT Tunstall, Augustana and Aerosmith.

After running some errands this morning, I spent a good part of the afternoon planning our upcoming weekend in Cinque Terre.

This is the wonderful little black dog who barks at us almost every day as we walk home from school.

My attitude about all the greyness brightened up a bit as the day progressed, so I decided to share some spring photos from around our building.

I missed day three of the Giro d'Italia. I guess it was a lot like day two...'Carnage'. That seemed to be the word used over and over again for the past two days. Lots of crashes.

This evening I completed our third puzzle, of the Grand Canal in Venice - 1000 pieces. Our next puzzle is a 1000 piece puzzle of the Colosseum in Rome.
