Lazy Saturday

We all slept in a bit this morning. Ah, I love Saturday mornings...

...Except for the fact that today I just didn't feel content or satisfied. Brandon kept himself fairly busy with Legos. Katrina worked on sorting through her photos. I just wasn't sure what to do with myself. I tried reading. I tried surfing the internet. I tried watching TV. I tried working on the puzzle. No luck, so I just wandered aimlessly from each of these activities to the next and back around again.

This afternoon I convinced Brandon to go to Auchan with me. I told him we could stop at the toy store and look at Legos. He had 18 euro in allowance burning a hole in his pocket. Off we went. Brandon took a long time looking at the Lego selection. He asked me what I thought about several different purchase options, then finally settled on Lego roads. They have two packs of Lego roads. He was able to buy three of them for his town of Legono.

Afterwards, we stopped in Auchan for some Coke and fresh bread. I keep forgetting that Auchan is not the place to be on a Saturday. It is so crazy crowded!

This evening I made fresh bruschetta for dinner. Yum! We love it. Even Brandon loves it. When we finished off the bread, Brandon disappeared into the kitchen. A few minutes later he came out with sliced tomatoes topped with mozzerella. We were very impressed!
