Aikido Demonstration

Morning came too early today. I could have stayed in bed for a couple more hours, but duty calls. Breakfast and lunch must be made. Surprisingly, Brandon was already up and reading in bed when I went in to wake him. He's been reading The Dangerous Book For Boys.

It's another beautiful day in Vedano. It wasn't quite as warm as yesterday, but it did get humid later on.

I needed to go for a bike ride but kept finding things to do around the house. I finally made it out the door at 11am. I ended up riding 55km RT. The skies were overcast, so the ride was not as hot as the past few days.

Early this evening Katrina and I attended Brandon's Aikido class at school. They students did demonstrations of their skills and earned their yellow belts.


Brandon and a couple kids from his class were late to Aikido, so they didn't have time to put on their kimonos. Bummer...he looks cute in it.





Brandon had his friend Amelie over to play for a couple of hours. On the walk home from Aikido we stopped at the gelateria for a treat. They had a good time until it was time to take Amelie home. Always a bummer!
