My blog is a day to day description of what it is like to be an American living in Italy: the great sights, good food, vacations, daily life and even the difficulties and frustrations.

Snow!
We woke up to a winter wonderland of snow. There is only a 1/2 inch of snow on the ground, but everything is white and beautiful. The temperature is .7 celcius. The forecast calls for snow flurries all day and into tomorrow.
I spent most of my day planning for our weekend in Nice, taking practice tests for my Italian drivers license, and studying a guidebook for our summer trip to Slovenia and Croatia.
I also took a short and very wet (and mucky) bike ride around Parco di Monza. The result of this bike ride was the return of a persistent cough and an hour of bike cleaning plus laundry.
