About Me

I am a 45 year husband and dad, currently adjusting to life back in the United States after living in Italy for a little over two years. I love spending time with my family, cycling, model railroading, mosaics and watching TV and movies.

Domenica

I woke up still feeling a little bit better, but my stomach was still upset. Katrina and Brandon let me sleep some more. I slept until 10:15, waking up to find Katrina and Brandon building our apartment with Legos.

I don't feel achy anymore, but my stomach is a little upset.

I spent some time this morning making reservations for the Anne Frank House, the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. We fly to Amsterdam on the 18th!

I also spent some time doing my usual daily load of laundry. Katrina and Brandon decided to go for a bike ride in Parco di Monza. They knew they would be hot when they returned, so I had the AC on and cooling the apartment.

The late afternoon was spent working on my model ship and watching Stage 2 of the Tour de France.

This evening we drove over to Sesto San Giovanni to catch the red line Metro into Milano. We are meeting Gianluigi, Davide, Gino, Mike, Becky and Michelle at Tropy Milano, an all you can eat pizzaria we have been to before.

Gianluigi, Mike, Michelle, Davide (hiding in back), Becky, Brandon, Gino, Katrina and me.

"This is a cool bike...." - Mike checking out Gianluigi's motorcycle.
