Morning has snuck up on me again.
Todays forecast: mostly sunny and pleasant, 29c
Italian phrase: Mi faresti un massaggio? - Would you give me a massage?
I woke up to find Katrina working on her computer this morning. She is having a very busy week because it is a short week and because managers from Corvallis are in town. I think she arrived home at 11:45pm last night and will be working late again this evening.
I had my Italian lesson at 9am, Katrina's normal time slot. She cancelled her lesson for this week because she is just too busy. My lesson went fairly well. I really need to practice a bit more each day. I haven't been practicing as much as I did in the US.
I made myself a piadina with salami milano and provolone for lunch. Yum!
I spent a good part of the afternoon trying to catch up on laundry, sweeping the house and trying to catch up on my blog. I should have it all updated soon.
It was a warm walk to school this afternoon. Brandon was very chatty on the way home. He is working on a bug newspaper with two of his classmates. Not sure why, but I guess its because they are 8 years old. He told me about how they are trying to save an ant colony on the playground and how they are going to reconstruct the ant hill before it caves in. Somehow I think the destruction and chaos in the ant colony is more from 8 year olds than from the ants themselves.
I was able to enjoy a bowl of fresh celiege (cherries) this afternoon. They were delicious.
Rosella gave Brandon his Italian lesson on the balcony this afternoon. Its quite nice outside. He seems to be doing a better job of paying attention today.
Katrina worked late again this evening. We have not heard from her all day. She must be pretty busy.
Brandon and I are having an interesting dinner this evening. We are snacking on salami Milano with provolone while waiting for french fries to bake in the oven.
