About Me

I am a 45 year husband and dad, currently adjusting to life back in the United States after living in Italy for a little over two years. I love spending time with my family, cycling, model railroading, mosaics and watching TV and movies.

Permesso Renewal

This morning all three of us had to meet Frida, our new relocation person, at the post office in Biassono.  Today we completed step one of renewal for the Permesso di Sogiornos, our permit cards to live and work in Italy.  They expire on the 23rd.  For step 1 we had to make page by page copies of our Passports and complete some paperwork.  The relocation people did most of the paperwork.  All of this is completed and officially entered at the post office.   Step 2 will take place on the 18th, when we meet Frida at the Monza police station to get fingerprinted, again.  We were fingerprinted the first time.  Don't they still have that on record?  Who knows, maybe our identities and fingerprints changed in the last two years.  We just go with the flow and do whatever we need to do to legally live in Italy.

It's a beautiful sunny day in Vedano.  We are supposed to have a high of 11C (52F) today.  The forecast says we may reach 68 on Sunday!

It's Thursday evening and that means one important thing - it's pizza night!  Pugliese for me, Marinara for Brandon and Margarita for Katrina.
