Today was Brandon's first day of 5th grade. His teacher is Ms. Dyas. Since it is such a small school, with one class per grade, all of his classmates are the same as last year - minus 4 kids who have moved or transferred to other schools. So, at the present time he is in a class of 15 kids.
He seemed happy to start school again. Katrina walked him to school then went walking in the park.
I picked him up after school. It was good to see all the other parents and the kids again. Several of us headed over to Gelateria Jody's for an afterschool treat of gelato or granita.
