We all woke up in the 7am hour. Its very windy outside.
Brandon and I decided to go see the classic car races at the Autodrome today. Katrina wanted to do a little clothes shopping. Its a 3 day weekend of racing. e10 for me and free for Brandon. We walked over to the track at 9:45. I wanted to be there by 10:30 to see the FIA Historic Formula 1 pre '86 car race. We arrived just in time. What a cool race.

The Formula 1 cars were so loud Dad!...What did you say Brandon? 
More vintage Formula 1 cars. 
The second race we saw featured Trofeo Lurani Formula Junior cars. 
The third race featured F1, F2, Tasman, and Indy pre '66 cars. 
The last race we watched featured F2 and F Atlantic cars. There were many more races before and after our time at the track. All sorts of vintage racers, touring cars, etc. 
A couple other interseting cars parked at the track.Brandon and I had such a good time, we ended up putting our money together and buying a Carrera slot car track.
I tried to take a little video of the last race. Its a bit tough when there is so much speed involved and fences in the way...to protect us, of course.
Katrina spent a good part of the afternoon uploading her pictures from Venice. She also watched two movies, Stardust and Be Kind, Rewind. Brandon and I played with the slot car track off and on.
