Residential Trip and Venice

Brandon was up early this morning, excited to be leaving on his residential trip. He ate a quick breakfast, put his jacket on and grabbed his suitcase...20 minutes early. I kept his distracted for a few minutes by watching a cycling video on my laptop.



When it was time to head out, we headed down to the car and drove over to the school parking lot. Most of the parents were already there. I heard that several of the children woke up early, just like Brandon. Excitement was in the air. They at 8:30, right on schedule. I think it is a 3 hour drive to their destination.



Brandon promised to write a short guest blog when he returns home.

After dropping Brandon off, Katrina and I packed our suitcase. We are heading to Venice for one night and Vicenza for one night. It's been a year, since Brandon's last residential trip, since we have had some time out alone.

I will update my blog when we return on Friday evening. Off to Venice....
