About Me

I am a 45 year husband and dad, currently adjusting to life back in the United States after living in Italy for a little over two years. I love spending time with my family, cycling, model railroading, mosaics and watching TV and movies.

Friday!

Yea, its Friday.

This morning we had to meet Frida (our immigration expert) at the Monza police station to submit our paperwork and take new fingerprints for our applications to extend our stay in Italy until the end of June.  It went fairly smoothly, although, in typical Italian style, there were some extra forms needed before everything can be processed.  The immigration experts were told by the Milan office that they didn't need to file this particular paperwork until April 15, coinciding with the dates we arrived.  The Monza police want the paperwork dated for this month.  Who knows?  They Monza police talked worked it out with Frida and her company.  We just dit and wait.  Overall, the process of renewing is going smoother than obtaining the permit to begin with.

Katrina arrived home a little early this evening and went to bed for a nap.  She slept from 6:30 until 9:30pm!  We are all dragging a bit and hope that a weekend at home will rejuvenate us.
